A letter of the Ministry of Finance was published on February 20, 2007 under #03-03-06/1/104 which details the Ministry's opinion on how business expenses incurred by a permanent representation of a foreign company in the RF should be recorded.

Russian Premier Minister visits Japan to boost ties
Russia is interested in Japan’s large infrastructure projects, particularly in the sphere of energy, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov said at his meeting with the members of the Japan Business Federation. “Opening our markets to Japanese investors, inviting them to take part in large infrastructure projects, we of course hope for reciprocity,” Fradkov stressed.

Gold and foreign currency reserves up $1bn (Russia)
Russia’s gold and foreign currency reserves were $302.7 billion as of 19 January 2007, up $1bn, or 0.3 percent, from $301.7 billion a week before, the Central Bank of Russia has reported. In the previous week ending January 12 the reserves decreased by $2.2 billion.
